When I decided to have four 38 year old skylights replaced I requested quotes from four different installers. Pinnacle was by far the lowest. I admit that I was a little skeptical. I remembered the old saying to throw out the highest and the lowest and go with someone in the middle. But, I was very impressed with Joe F. the sales rep. He was the most professional, gave me an excellent presentation and provided printed details on the construction of the Velux skylights and the options available. He also included step by step procedures that they would follow to install the skylights. I checked out their office in North Kingston. It is located in the rear of an old stone mill building in a section called "The Hive". it's small and not at all flashy but a testament to the frugality of the business and I believe that this shows up in their desire to provide excellent customer service at a reasonable price. The crew arrived on time for the installation, were friendly and very hard working. I watched the first install and they followed the Velux installation to the letter as seen in the YouTube Velux video. The owner, Scott, even stopped by to check on the job. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up properly and the dumpster was picked up the next morning. After booking, your information is assigned to the Project Manager for your area.

On the day of your appointment, your Project Manager will complete a thorough inspection of your roof, skylights, siding, or storm-related concerns.

Drone and ground-level photos
Review of any problem areas or concerns you’d like addressed
Before leaving, your Project Manager will:
Walk you through what was found
Explain recommended solutions
Discuss repair vs. replacement options
Answer all questions so you can make an informed decision
After your inspection, you’ll receive a clear, detailed written report and quote by email.

For inspections, it’s preferred but not required for exterior-only evaluations. It is important to look at the roof from the attic if access is available and address leaks. Satellite imagery estimates are useful and helpful however they do not share the full scope of work in our New England homes often. A more accurate estimate if from a thorough inspection so we are able to take in al the variables in regards to cost. Visit our cost page for more information. For skylights interior access is required so we may know where your the skylight will be located for installation.
After your inspection, we email you a detailed written report and quote with photos (drone & ground), condition summary, repair vs. replacement recommendations, and pricing/options. Printed copies are available upon request.
