A home on Helme Road in Kingston, RI needed more than new shingles — the homeowner wanted to transform how natural light entered the kitchen and bathroom while replacing an aging roof that had seen better days. Scope of Work

This Kingston project required careful coordination between two trades — roofing and skylight installation — executed in the correct sequence to maintain waterproofing integrity at every stage. We began with a complete tear-off of the existing shingles to inspect the deck condition. The plywood was in serviceable shape with no significant delamination, though we replaced several sheets near the skylight openings where previous installations had left oversized cuts in the decking.

New pipe boots, ridge ventilation, and Shadow Ridge hip and ridge caps completed the installation.
