We put a drone in the air to assess every plane safely and thoroughly, documented the damage for the insurance adjuster, and carried the home through a complete storm restoration. Scope of Work
Our assessment started with an aerial drone inspection, giving us a close, safe look at the storm-damaged roof planes and chimney flashing without missing a thing. We compiled the imagery into a clear damage report for the homeowner’s storm damage restoration claim, then rebuilt the roof — tear-off to the deck, decking repairs as needed, new underlayment, and a fresh asphalt architectural shingle system with rebuilt flashing at the chimney and wall transitions.
What We Installed (And Why)
The heart of this project was accuracy. Drone imaging let us map exactly where the storm did its damage — including around the chimney, where flashing failures cause many hidden leaks — so nothing was overlooked when the roof was rebuilt. That precision carried straight into the repair scope and the insurance documentation.
With the assessment complete, we tore the roof to the deck, replaced any compromised sheathing, and reinstalled the full water-management system: ice-and-water shield at eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment across the field, and new step-flashing and counterflashing at the chimney and walls. New starter, drip edge, ridge cap, and balanced ventilation finished a roof built to shed weather and last.
