About The Roofing System
For this Narragansett project, we installed GAF Timberline HDZ in fox-hollow-gray with a system-first approach. A reliable shingle roof works as a set of layers—water protection at vulnerable areas, a secondary barrier over the deck, strong edge sealing at the starter course, clean transition detailing, and ventilation to help the roof handle heat and moisture. We follow manufacturer requirements so the roof performs consistently through wind, rain, and Rhode Island freeze/thaw cycles.
